  • the Abyss.
  • Ask the bartender for quarters so you can throw them at the bucket on the wall. Beat my 5 for 8 and I'll buy you a beer.
  • Excellent beer! Get the sampler to start - you can choose any 6 beers from the current menu.
  • Wanna spend dinner surrounded by screaming pampered children and their iPhone camera obsessed parents? Then this is your spot. Awesome beer at the bar - but not worth the wait for a table.
  • Jubel Ale aged 13 months in Oregon Pinot barrels on cask now!
  • If you have the opportunity to put Black Butte XXV in your face, do it.
  • Drink one beer from each tap. Don't drive home.
  • The pretzel is fantastic. Buttery and crispy and salty and chewy. The cheese and mustard it comes with are pretty good too, but the pretzel itself is the highlight. Get it!
  • Try the beer!
  • ALWAYS check the seasonal/special list. They have some great ones here!
  • 2010 jubelale is a definite treat!
  • Great brews, crazy good pretzels, gooey mac n cheese and friendly staff. Place is very cool for a quick lunch or a lingering dinner. Deschutes represents the best of Portland.
  • Large beer house and restaurant. Great meals (not oversized!) beautiful big windows with views to the nice street outside. I recommend the cod on the menu and the vegan mushroom pie.
  • great gluten free beer and full GF menu!
  • Tenes que pedir "Fish & Chip"... Es como ir a un caf en Argentina y pedirle a un mozo que te traiga un "feca"!!!
  • Spicy Thai chicken wings are delish!:-D
  • Elk burger is a must!
  • The sweet potatoe fries are to die for
  • Great beer selection! Try the classic sampler. The pretzels w/ the cheese = spectacular.. The chilli was phenomenal. Portions are huge so you should order it family style to share.
  • Ask for a flight of soda for your kids! Great fun, includes homemade ginger ale and root beer. Keeps them busy while you work on your samples.
