  • Watch out for pickpockets!
  • Lacquered roasted ducks hang in the butcher shop; rows of egg tarts fill the bakery displays; and prepared-food stations hawk pay-per-pound delicacies like shredded pigs ear and gamy beef tongue.
  • After 7pm, all the hot food (and sushi too!) is marked down.
  • Week day $3.25 lunch special: white rice with your choice of two sides.
  • A quick meal or big snack? 1 buck for the big steamed meat buns. Vietnamese or pork and veggie are my favorites. Can get frozen in packs of four.
  • Get here before 11am on weekend to avoid the great congestion
  • Get there by 7am to watch the flying pig show!
  • One of the best quality places for all kinds of meat and fish.
  • The pineapple buns are pretty decent
  • Everything is fantastic here. Head to the cooked food section and your dinner is solved.
  • Some of the best frozen dumpings in Chinatown. Get the pork, shrimp, and veggie ones.
  • Lunch and dim sum
  • The pork buns are amazing!
  • , .
  • State Sen Daniel Squadron's list of best - steamed pork & chive dumplings
  • Decent hot foods and grocery selection, especially the live seafood (fish, lobster, frog, eel, etc).
  • They seem to have re-organized and tidied up a bit. Still chaotic, but I appreciate the change.
  • An eye-opener in Chinese markets selling fresh meat and seafood.
  • Super hectic grocery / hot buffet / bakery / deli combo
  • They take a credit card. $10 minimum spending.
