  • The heart of the menu are grilled/smoked meats. House specialties extend to Peruvian-style chicken. Every detail (fluffy-centered yuca, shocking green chili puree, creamy aioli) is pitch perfect.
  • Chef Victor Albisu leaves seemingly no dish untorched as he evokes the asados, or barbecues, of South America.

  • Try there Rib eye the meat is delicious and seasoned well. The waiter was excellent and attentive

  • The grill makes everything taste better. Happy hour offers some must try small plates including steak crostini, salmon ceviche, and seared provolone. Wine and cocktails are always delicious.
  • Delicious and beautiful restaurant. We had empanadas(amazing!), Peruvian Chicken(delicious) and NY Strip with chimichurria (Perfection!). Also had salad, grilled and LOVED it!! Cannot wait to go back

  • Food is fantastic but portions are embarrassingly small. Spent $35 here and left without being entirely full. Delicious, but not worth the price, even for DC. Their portions used to be more generous.
  • Victor Albisu's South American restaurant serves up a variety of grilled smoky meats, and menu items like arepas. There's even a cocktail list with edible, meaty garnishes available in the lounge.

  • Perhaps one of the best vegetarian dishes in D.C., the torta pasqualina (Easter tart) combines kale, chard and spinach, then is layered in a flaky crust with bechamel, onions and mushrooms.

  • Tons of meat but there are also some very good sides, salads, and other vegetable items. Excellent cocktails too. Don't be too depressed if you're a vegetarian and someone takes you here.
