Coffee Bean Releases New Holiday Beverages

The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf will be offering their new holiday beverages, Toffee Nut Latte and Toffee Nut Ice Blended, as well as favorites Peppermint Mocha Latte, Red Velvet Hot Chocolate and Winter Dream Tea Latte through December 29.

Nadamoo Ice Cream Comes to LA

Nadamoo Ice Cream is expanding into 17 Gelson's markets in the LA area.  Angelenos can now indulge in gluten-free ice cream including flavors such as Lotta Mint Chip, Maple Pecan, Chocolate Almond Chip and Sweet Cherry Lime. Made with coconut milk and agave nectar, the ice cream is vegan friendly.

Plain Check Kitchen and Bar Opens on Fairfax

Plain Check Kitchen and Bar opened its second location in the heart of the Fairfax district. Serving modern takes on American comfort food alongside premium whiskeys and craft beers, the new space is over 4,000 square feet.

Hotel Bel Air and Beverly Hills Hotel Offer Special Tea for Saving Mr. Banks Movie Release

Children of all ages can enjoy a new "Spoonful of Sugar" tea honoring the release of the "Saving Mr. Banks" movie and the character of Mary Poppins. Offered through December 31 at Hotel Bel Air and The Beverly Hills Hotel, the tea includes meringues, cupcakes, cheesecakes, cookies, quiche, chicken and grilled cheese and salmon sandwiches.  Cost is $49 per person.

Montage Beverly Hills Introduces Wallis Supper Club Pre-Theater Dinners

The Montage Beverly Hills now offers an elegant pre-theater dinner service at their Wallis Supper Club for patrons of the Wallis Annenberg Center for Performing Arts. Ticketholders have the opportunity to enjoy a three course prix fixe dinner themed to the evening's performance. Complementary valet parking and transportation to and from the theater are included.  The Wallis Supper Club is accepting reservations now for pre-performance private dining for the play "Parfumerie," for December 12 – 14 and 19 – 21, with dining beginning at 6pm.  $115 per person.

Din Tai Fung Opens at Americana at Brand

The Glendale outpost of Din Tai Fung recently opened at Americana at Brand.  Offering traditional steamed dumplings, the menu also features favorite Chinese entrees including Shrimp and Pork Shao Mai, Noodles with Minced Pork Sauce and Shanghai Rice Cake with Chicken and Shrimp, as well as pot stickers, noodles, wontons, fried rice and soups.  Housed in a 6,800 square foot space, the new restaurant is located next to the new Nordstrom's
