  • The chicken mushroom ramen is made from a broth of a fortified chicken stock and kombu dashi, "a double soup of sorts."
  • The grilled mahi mahi sandwich at Death in the Afternoon (808 Chestnut Street; 314-621-3236) is so beautiful it could grace the pages of a glossy food magazine.
  • Chicken ramen
  • One of the best Cuban sandwiches I've ever had. Jalapeos are forgiven. Recommend the Cubano with a great local brew!
  • Check out the ramen! It's delicious.
  • One of the best salads I've had in St. Louis, mine topped with grilled chicken that had been perfectly marinated. Very fresh ingredients. A real treat. Great for solo dining al fresco or for a couple.
  • This place is the bees knees. It's pretty much just a glass box of awesome. The food is amazing and the service is always 100%.
  • The Chicken Ramen is pricey but worth it. Love the building and location.
  • A must try if you are looking for a nice place for a business lunch.
  • The Cubano is to die for. Order the fried pickles. No sharing.
  • The Cubano is Bomb fire!
  • The food is good (a little pricey) but the real draw is the patio.
  • The falafel and hummus are killer. Good food and great service. One of my few go-to places.
  • Single cheeseburger is plenty of juicy cheesy goodness for lunch.
  • Get the fries for sure - very crispy. Kinda salty but addicting
  • Cuban sandwiches, local beer
