D.C.'s Nationals Park To Sell Locally Made Beers

Washington D.C.'s Nationals Park is going to start selling locally made beers, Dcist reports. There had been complaints about the lack of locally produced beers at the park, and now fans will be able to enjoy their local breweries while the Nationals head into the second half of their season.

Some of the breweries represented at the park are 3 Star Brewing Company, DC Brau, Port City Brewing Company, and Mad Fox Brewing Company. The beers will be sold at the new kiosk behind section 139.

The Nationals have been selling regional beers for a few seasons, but these new beers are made closer to the ballpark. DC Brau founder Brandon Skall hopes that these new beers are something fans can be proud of and are eager to support.

Once the cart is installed, beers on tap will include DC Brau's "The Public pale ale," 3 Stars "Citra lemon peel saison," Port City's "Optimal Wit," and Mad Fox's "Kolsch."
