Cupcake ATM On Way To Chicago

Earlier this month Los Angeles-based cupcake phenomenon Sprinkles announced its new 24-hour cupcake ATM, and everyone wondered first, "Why was this necessary?" and then, "When is it coming to my city?"

Well, there's good news if you live in Chicago, because it's coming this summer.

Ashley Triestram, manager of the Chicago branch of Sprinkles, told the Chicago Reader that the pink cupcake dispenser would be in the Windy City this summer.

Like the LA version, the cupcake machine will be stocked with fresh cupcakes every day and hold 600 of the sugary marvels. According to The Huffington Post, the cupcakes will sell for $4 apiece. That's $0.50 higher than it costs to buy the cupcakes in the store, but it's a small fee to pay to be able to get one at 4 a.m. without having to talk to another human being.
