  • Just-opened Cooklyn, is a new Brooklyn-powered restaurant in Prospect Heights. It serves some gussied up comfort food like Lobster Mac & Cheese ($15) topped with a soft poached egg.
  • Not bad, but the service needs some work.
  • Welcome newcomer. Delicious food- get the lamb buns, filet, and lobster mac and cheese. Friendly staff and chef. Great addition to Vanderbilt.
  • Lamb buns are excellent. Pastas are great but a little small
  • Cute atmosphere. Food was good, but not mindblowing. Will have to try again.
  • Pork chops is an absolute must. Best I have had, ever. Good appetizers and friendly staff.
  • Very tasty but $$... It's Brooklyn!!! Perfect service Looking forward to visit soon
  • Easily some of the best food I've eaten in NY ever. Lamb buns were amazing, but the grilled octopus was of a tenderness and meatiness that I never thought possible. Was this real? Am I just dreaming?
  • Octopus, cod, steak = excellent!!
  • "key lime ricotta French toast stuffed, your Benedicts topped with fried oysters, and your milk to taste like fruity pebbles"
  • Everything! Awesome food and drinks...come see Manny the Bartender and all the servers with tattoos in this cool vibes, great food establishment
  • Good intentions, poorly executed. Friendly staff, culinary menu, exceptional wine list pulled down by weight of grinding house music, miserable spirits selection, gritty and underdressed salad greens.
  • Lobster mac n cheese is decent and other pastas were interesting. Service the night I went was a mess and the kitchen ran out of everything (including wines!) by the time we ate. Needs a lot of work.
  • This new spots brunch service includes some fancy stuff like Fried Oysters Benedict and some super comfort food dishes like the Cooklyn Skillet.
  • The upscale Prospect Heights restaurant focuses on Brooklyn-sourced food and drink. Try the lamb bun (a Greek take on Asian pork buns) and venison wontons from Chef Anthony Theocaropoulos.
  • Service has some kinks to iron out but the duck confit is outstanding
