Foursquare Tips

  • It would be easy to dismiss Cooke's as just another chain seafood restaurant. But that's not the case, as locals and tourists alike rave about a place with great food without the rustic elements.
  • My wife says the chowder is excellent :-)
  • Try their fried sole platter! It is delicious. You won't be disappointed. :)
  • half calamari and half fish and chips. Delicious! Especially after a long day on the cape.
  • We were looking for some good and simple seafood and that's exactly what we got. Check their specials!
  • Get the table by the front window for some of the best people watching in the city
  • The calamari had plenty of tentacles. The onion rings are light and tasty; better than the French fries. Also try the grey sole and fried haddock - both were excellent.
  • Everything was fresh and pretty quickly prepared...
  • Can't best the classic fish and chips here.
  • Super nice people. Their chowder was amazing and the lobster roll was amazing too.
  • Great seafood. Diner atmosphere.
  • Good food, good price.. Though Kinda feels like a nursing home dining hall
  • Great place to go, except I do not get the "Cape Cod feel", when I am there.
  • Scallop and scrod stuffed with crabmeat was awesome.
  • Best seafood on cape!!!!
  • They usually leave the skin on the broiled and fried fish so make sure to ask if you don't like the skin!
  • Love Cooke' Seafood of Haynnis, there are three on Cape Cod altogether, but this one is the best of all.
  • First time eating there was yesterday and the seafood was delicious! My shrimp and scallop platter was wonderful!
  • Nothing special. No "chow" in the chowder. All heavy cream :(
  • Cold veggies, cold fries, cold chowder
