Homemade truffles are easy; just make a thick ganache by melting chocolate in heated heavy cream (you can even add a little butter if you'd like to make them extra creamy), cool the ganache, and then roll it into balls. Prefer waffles to pancakes? Mix a box of store-bought waffle mix according to the package instructions, but, instead of using water or milk as your liquid, use eggnog. Add an extra pinch of nutmeg to the batter for even more flavor.
