All The Taste Of Pizza In One Cheesy, Saucy Dip

It is no secret that Americans love pizza, — 37 billion dollars' worth of pizza a year to be exact — but instead of sending all of that money to the pizzeria down the street, why not try making this delicious Cheesy Pizza Dip snack at home.

Armed with only a few key ingredients, a bowl, and a microwave you can satisfy your pizza hankering. With herbs, tomato sauce, and, of course, plenty of mozzarella cheese you won't believe how much it tastes like hot, fresh-from-the-oven pizza. To make this simple dip, just combine two cups of pasta sauce from a jar or you can make your own, two tablespoons grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, a quarter cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, and a quarter teaspoon dried oregano or basil.

Then, heat the dip in the microwave on high for one minute with a damp paper towel over top to prevent splatter, and serve with pita chips or naan.

Guests will love this delicious dip that takes mere minutes to make or enjoy this deconstructed pizza for a quick dinner.
