Commonwealth is a progressive American restaurant in San Francisco’s Mission District where its executive Chef Jason Fox incorporates modern techniques and diverse culinary approaches. The restaurant donates $10 from each $65-tasting menu to local non-profits.

  • Chef Jason Fox harmonizes a dizzying array of int'l ingredients - including sea urchin w/ sweet potato tempura, chrysanthemum leaf, shiso, scallion, & yuzu kosho. Also try the squid & pork belly!
  • Chase Jason Foxs creative, elegant food by voting a charity for the resto to donate a portion of its profits to.

  • One of the most anticipated restaurant openings in a long time. You should know that the fare is called progressive American & a portion of your bill goes to charity.

  • Try the beets, fromage blanc, pumpernickel, watercress, sorrel, smoked hay oil - Enjoyed the tasting menu at Commonwealth. Highly recommended!
  • Double down on ordering the huge hunk of perfectly cooked pork belly with plum, pickled onions, and mustard seed. The fat has the texture of buttery bone marrow.

  • They have parking!! $5, just note your space number. It's super clutch.
