Coleslaw with Peanut Dressing Recipe

This coleslaw could not be easier to make. The peanut dressing is creamy yet refreshing and is sure to add a kick to your next outdoor party.

Deliver Ingredients


For the coleslaw:

  • 1 large head green cabbage, shredded
  • 1 small head red cabbage, shredded
  • 2 carrots, peeled and shredded
  • One 12-ounce bag broccoli slaw
  • ½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped

For the dressing:

  • ¾ cup smooth peanut butter, at room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar, plus more as needed
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha 


For the coleslaw:

Toss the cabbages, carrots, broccoli, and cilantro in a large bowl and set aside. 

For the dressing:

Whisk together all the ingredients until the dressing is smooth and fairly loose in consistency. Add extra brown sugar and Sriracha to taste. 

Pour the dressing over the coleslaw and toss to combine.

Look for vegetables that are firm and bright in color – avoid those that are wilted or have wrinkled skins, which are signs of age.
