Tips
- Legendary folk joint. A slightly older crowd holds court here most nights, but also expect to see plenty of music-nerds.
- Coolest music vibe in town, man. 60s
- Buy tickets early so you can sit up in front. Amazingly intimate venue, nothing quite like it.
- Great small, intimate music venue. Catch some local high quality, moderately priced shows with good food to boot.
- Be sure to check out Passim any night of the week for great live music. Theyve been hosting live music, poetry and art shows 7 days a week for fifty years, so they know about quality entertainment.
- Have some beer or wine! Now you can!
- They have a summer concert series outside the venue on Palmer Street as part of their Passim Presents program, so check that out!
- Very great live music!! check this place out.
- Great place for local and national folk music talent.
- Check out the open mic nights every Tuesday at 7!
- Great place for an intimate show.
- Never a bad show. Never. Intimate venue, honest musicians. Always a treat.
- This intimate music venue (capacity is roughly 100 people) has been Boston's premiere listening spot for folk, jazz & Celtic music for over 50 years. Shows generally run between $10 - $35 per ticket.
- Great performances, really cramped and slow service, but really good food. Don't get the large portion...it's HUGE and impossible to finish (and I eat tons!)
- What a great venue for an intimate night of music. Delicious and affordable vegetarian food and wine/beer! Loved it.
- Great pizza and salads - generous portions, fast service. Great staff!
- A legendary folk venue where you'll get well-acquainted with your neighbors. Get a ticket to a show and order food from the adjoining Veggie Planet (Henry's Dinner & coconut rice: oddly addicting.)
- Here with sister Holly to see good friends Mike & Ruthy play.
- Some big-time performers made their debuts on this stage, including Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Shawn Colvin and Tracy Chapman. The club boasts an intimate 102 seats.
- A Cambridge folk music institution. Some of the best in the world have played here. You have to be pretty "crunchy granola" to like the food. I go for the Safe & Sound pizza with spinach added.
