  • Great place to visit spend the afternoon
  • This monument for Chiang Kai-shek is a must-visit. Inside, the massive Memorial Hall is where you'll learn about his life and the history of Taiwan. This place has its own MRT Station (Xindian line).
  • Very impressive. If you go at the right time, you can watch the ritual of the sentries switching post at the memorial.
  • Every hour guard shift their duty and its awesome
  • 11/20
  • Worth seeing for its scope, but not much else besides the bronze statue of Kai-Shek. The weekends will have you people watching. That's when the area really comes to life.
  • Must visit place when u r in Taipei, Taiwan..
  • MUST VISIT: Visit this magnificent structure around 3 pm to witness the changing-of-guards ceremonies.

  • Amazing architecture with a lot of history inside. Ran by volunteers. Bonus: Check out the Winnie the Pooh Exhibition while its in town (9/18/16 is the last day)
  • Some very rare photographs are also on display. This one was taken during his visit to India. Picture taken with M.K. Gandhi.
  • One of the many Cadillac's used by the man as his official state car. More like this on display here.
  • Guards shift change happens hourly. Another ceremony that is worth witnessing. Mesmerising it is!!!
  • The place is huge and has a beautiful architecture. I would strongly recommend history buffs to visit this place. Lots of memorabilias and artifacts surrounding Chiang Kai-Shek's life are on display.
  • The National Performing Arts Centre is also within the same compound. A world class centre that has numerous international shows all year round.
