  • Always busy, but well worth it during happy hour! Get the miniature burgers (odd tip for a sushi place, but whatever, they're awesome)!

  • Sashimi is really fresh and good, the quality of hamachi and albacore or sweet shrimp you'd get at a high-end sushi bar, and served with sharp, fragrant pickled ginger.
  • Go to Chaya Venice and get the Spicy Tuna tar tare on spicy wonton crisps.
  • Go to Chaya Venice for the Late Supper (M-TH @10:30; F-Sun @ 11:00). Sushi is $4 - $5. Tuna Tartare is a must-order. Hands down best dessert is Banana Banana Banana

  • Black cod is light and flaky yet with so much flavor. However, the veggies that come with it are underseasoned. Spicy tuna tartare is amazing!
