Tips

  • Your best one-stop for souvenirs and mementos of Kuala Lumpur. Can get a little pricey though. As in every public tourist area, be aware of your belongings.
  • The oldest market in KL with some Malay handicrafts, art and fabrics. If you go there look out for the seasonal fruits of buah salak (snakeskin fruit), dragon fruit, guava, pomelo and star fruit.
  • A unique spot which all the traditional's stuff are available ... Very recommend it .....
  • Huggle whenever you can but enjoy the rustic cultural appeal of Malayan products and culture. Always go for fish foot spa to relax your tired feet after your shopping rendevous.
  • There is a handmade push cart in central market. Can DIY names into keychain, hp, necklace, bracelet with colourful handmade beads. Ideal gift & souvenirs for tourists & friends
  • The delicious food on the roadside are sold which is exposed to beggars who coughs near to it and the buses which releasing a thick toxic smokes. Enjoy the food people!
  • Tenang je dok kat dlm ni. Byk cenderamata sampai xtau nk pilih yg mana satu :)
  • Try the nyonya food in precious old China @ central market, cawan emas kecil, nyonya chicken, salad bendi and santan durian.
  • There is a fruit shop on Ground flr at the furthest left in called Fresh n' Best that sells good local fruits bite sizes. Rojak Buah here is good but a bit spicy. Make sure you ask for less spicy!

  • Try the Sago Gula Melaka dessert (tradisional nyonya malay dessert ) in Precious Old China Restaurant on 1st floor. Simple but so good! A must try.

  • If you are looking for good, just head over to the 1st floor food court and you will find many food choices from Western, Indian, Thai to Malay.

  • Buy all the amazing local finds at this Heritage Site. Unique local and multi-ethnic finds could be found at places such as the Batik Emporium, the Suria Portrait Centre, and Borneo Pearls.
  • Haven for souvenir with reasonable price.
  • Sago gula melaka dessert at Precious Chinese restaurant on 1st floor is delicious.Must try.It is halal though(baba nyonya dessert).Some stuff are a little pricey.And be extra careful of pick pocket.
  • Setiap hari otw g office akn lalu sini. Ramai org. Seram. Beware of pick pockets
  • Food court is worth trying especially Aneka Sup. Lovely noodles with beef balls and broth at rm4.5 only
