  • Wear good walking or hiking shoes. Take time to explore all the rooms and tunnels. Also, bring your camera, the views are spectacular.

  • Visit the fort from 9:00am to 6:00 pm
  • Buy a ticket for both castillos and save a dollar. The walk from one to the other is good for getting a feel for the old city.
