Tips

  • An extraordinarily experimental local brew pub. Short rib poutine and a pizza topped with local foraged mushrooms are different from the usual pub fare, and an outdoor patio offers coveted seats.
  • Mark your calendar for CBC Pumpkin Fest around Halloween. It's an amazing selection of over 40 different pumpkin beers. Spectacular event!
  • Sit outside on the patio, enjoy a delicious "Audacity of Hops Belgian IPA." Please
  • Do Not bring toddlers and kids - seriously, WTF, this is a brew pub - come for the bier and la dolce vita
  • The Charles River Porter here is simply the best porter ever!
  • go to the CBC and try the "spring training IPA". so refreshing, you won't regret it
  • Tower of Beer. Don't ask why, just try!
  • Try the chocolate Belgium waffles.
  • If you think the service is shitty - like Alan D. does - chances are you're a shitty customer.
  • Try the cask beer, it changes every couple of days.
  • Great Punpkin Beer is awesome!!! Try it
  • Their seasonal Heather Scottish Ale was the best beer I've ever had. Dark, smooth and strong (10%). Have a fire outside in winter and enjoy a great seasonal menu. Their Pumpkinfest is to die for.
  • get the burger and ask for the secret sauce!
  • Try the wort ice cream - malty toffee caramel goodness. Like Christmas cake !
  • Try to name all the people in the mural, while enjoying delicious brews and food. I recommend the fish and chips.
  • Each beer tastes amazing and is very well priced. Try their special seasonals, you will not be disappointed. Also keep an eye out for their festivals, they're awesome!
  • Excellent beer and food here. Try their pizzas or wings. Or just about anything else for that matter...
  • Beer was somewhat strange and I didn't like fritatta...
  • CBC Burger is absolutely delicious. And that's coming from someone who doesn't ever order red meat at a restaurant, never mind a burger. Oh, and best pickle ever!
  • Hop X and The Audacity of Hops are two great IPAs here.
