Foursquare Tips

  • Cheap, friendly restaurant with excellent Tibetan food. Vegetarian-friendly.
  • momo combo - 3 veggie, 3 chicken, and 3 beef steamed dumplings
  • Great veggi curry! I always order it when i come here. Highly recommended
  • Chili Chicken is a must have
  • Best Tibetan food in NYC. Go for the lamb thali.
  • Loved the pork chili and the hot sauces are incredible! The thalis will get you great variety for a lower price.
  • tingmo, Tibetan steamed bread
  • lamb curry with rice was the highlight of our meal
  • chicken fried rice
  • O preo bom e o lugar e timo !
  • Chow Mein may not be the most adventurous dish but I'm hooked on Cafe Tibet's smoky version. Share it with Beef Momos and some vegetables on the side.
  • I feel like sitting outside writing, maybe having a conversation and being stimulated by ambient street sounds, passerbys, the rumble of a subway car below and the caf's music all at once.
  • Butter tea. Period.
  • 1) it's cash only. So leave the credit cards home. 2) you can bring your own bottle of wine for your meal.
  • Good food, but really slow service, bad service I always order bread and they always give me rice... Hello
  • Two people I know got sick from eating here but I still go back! THATS HOW MUCH I LOVE THAT MOMO. THAT SWEET, SAUCY BEEF MOMO. I'm also a fan of the beef thenthuk.
  • They stopped serving breakfast :(
  • Try the chicken momo. Delicious!
  • always get spicy :)
  • Beef Momos are amazing.
