Foursquare Tips

  • A bottle of champagne with anything.
  • order pork pate largest in the city and fresh
  • The steak tartare is the best in the city. Period. When it's not on the menu in winter months, the onion soup is fabulous.
  • It's the most come-as-you-are French cafe in town, suffused with a casual dailiness that makes it dangerously easy to become a regular.
  • Anything with "Croque" in the name secures a mouth-gasim.
  • The yogurt with honey & walnuts is awesome - get it.
  • Doesn't get any better than a traditional croque monsieur (or madame) and some chilled piquepoul, at least not in my book. The lavender sorbet is divine too
  • Delicious food until 2AM. Vegetarian and vegan options are more limited but do exist.
  • Spend a cozy, wine-filled hour eating the whole roast chicken
  • The whole bird is a triumph of moist flesh and brittle skin. Roasted to order and split for two, it's well worth the hour wait.
  • Basically nothing for vegetarians or fish-only eaters here.
  • order the Croque a la Justin - an extra egg on the side, then slap that bitch right in the middle and go to town. Delicious.
  • Spacious with attentive staff. From coffee to pastry (chocolate croissant) to Croque Madame, food is good.
  • Food is excellent and portion sizes are perfect. The bread is fresh and amazing. soccer on tv is an added bonus and a very warm atmosphere.
  • The back room is so relaxing. It's the perfect place to have dinner with a group of friends and share many bottles of wine.
  • Absolutely amazing food here. The bread is delicious and the breakfast is supreme.
  • the champagne cocktails are lovely.
  • The Croque Madame is one of the best in the city and the cold chicken with mayo and potato salad is simple and incredible.
  • Monkey steals the peach.
  • Open 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. with breakfast, lunch and dinner served the majority of those open hours. Drool worthy are the croque madame, salade verte, French onion soup, sardine sandwich, steak frites.
