Foursquare Tips

  • It isn't on the menu but get their Mofongo. It's great! For a small desert order some sweet plantains (maduros). Rum-based and Sangria drinks are great here too.
  • Everything from the food to dessert is absolutely amazing! Even the drinks are awesome! Have a seat and enjoy! :)
  • order ropa vieja is really good. they have a nice menu. must try. btw it's a take out place not a place to seat and eat
  • This is one of my favorite restaurants! Food is amazing! No matter what you get, you'll be satisfied! Churrasco o chicharron de pollo always do it for me!
  • Awesome Paella. Better to share though. Its a lot of food.
  • jerk chicken wings, back in the day tho.
  • Yellow Rice and Beans were soo good! Glazed salmon was good, but a little dry. Service was great though.
  • OMG! The Tres Leches cake is unbelievably delicious here! Order it!
  • Best of the 3 locations in New York. Prepare yourself for large portions and lots of salsa music. The red sangria is a must, by the pitcher, it's sweeter that way ;)
  • Red Sangria is the best ;)
  • Excellent for a Saturday afternoon lunch with friends.
  • One of the best mojitos in town at a great price. Highly recommended!
  • the food was good not truly excellent but the sangria was to die for!! the hour long wait to be seated was ridiculous
  • Unbelievable....!!! but heard the big time developers want that whole corner, commonly called resturant row eat up fast because bulldozers & construction don't like cocojitos Friends
  • Mojitos and paella. Heaven for me.
  • Starters: chicken noodle soup and house salad. Entree Chicharron chicken with black bean and yellow rice, Churrasco steak with chimichurri sauce and red beans and yellow rice.
  • Me and my fianc went here for Valentines Day. The served us frozen (like still ice cold and rock hard frozen) empanadas. Charges us full price no drink on the house to make up for it.
  • Coconut shrimp, avocado salad & Churrasco. That's all you need to know. I have been coming here with my mother for probably over 10 years. It's always a sure thing. Oh and the plantains w/ garlic oil.
  • The Cojito (coconut mojito) is freaking awesome!!!
