Foursquare Tips

  • You push the front door, not pull. :)
  • Maple Shay Shay espresso, and then your life is changed forever
  • My god, the donuts are worth the hour on the treadmill to burn them off. Coffee is pretty great too.
  • They roast their coffee on location and know how to make a great brew. Must try if you love coffee. Plus the baristas are super-nice and know their shit. Good casual meeting place too.
  • All pastries half-off after 4pm. Win.
  • Tons of seating, chill Brooklyn vibe, and wifi. Try the Maple Shay Shay (worth the cavity it's going to give you).
  • Be sure to bike here for a discount if coffee. Nothing better than a good cup of joe after a morning ride.
  • Croissants and doughnuts are also the bomb.
  • Join the Cupholders Club. Buy a vintage mug and get $1 drip every time you bring it back
  • This may be the best coffee that I have ever tasted.
  • Wifi is Welcome2BRC / Welcome2BRC
  • Tucked away in DUMBO, this coffee shop created from a lofty warehouse space is worth the visit. Order the iced maple shay and a sweet doughnut from Dough for a complete breakfast (or dinner).
  • This is the best place ever. Killer coffee. A must visit of Dumbo
  • They seem to source poor quality beans, and roasted sub-optimally, but this is still a reasonable option in DUMBO, especially with the baristas expertly doing the best they can with those beans.
  • Oil your fingers beforehand so the iPad sig machine smells like banana boat for the next person.
  • Really excellent coffee, always rotating with seasonal specials roasted right on site. A bit noisy for meetings or working but plenty of seating. They used to give a discount if you bring your own mug
  • Excellent spot to work in the morning with decent coffee, excellent wifi, ample window lit seating, great ambiance, and a short walk to the ferry later.
  • It's everything you want a Brooklyn espresso shop to be. Enjoy a cortado or a capp amongst all the creative folk.
  • They recently opened up the whole space. Extremely interesting spot with the best coffee in NYC. Get a couple tins to enjoy at home and never need to go to Starbucks again.
  • Appian Way: Noaa: between Jay + quay: South American coffee with panache but no Pinochet: Balihoo Maple Shay Shay
