  • The talent behind Brooklyn Athletic Club is Shepard Ross (owner and co-founder) and chef Jeff Axline. You know these guys: Ross also owns...
  • The crab cakes were very good. The mac and cheese is over hyped, and mussels were average. Try the jalapeno aioli if you get the fries. It's very good.
  • Don'tl leave without trying the gnocchi! The dish is crazy awesome!
  • WiFi password : dodgers1955
  • Fyi restrooms are private... Lock the door behind you!
  • The baked Man 'n' cheese is silly good - with braised short ribs and a bread crumb crust; it was gone before we could even take a pic!
  • Sweet potato gnocchi and s'mores bread pudding are must tries. The crab cake was just okay.
  • Butternut squash soup was just meh (& I love it usually), but I'd order the sweet potato gnocchi every day for the rest of my life if I could.
  • Real slow service...painfully slow.
  • The sweet potato gnocchi is seriously the most amazing thing. You must get it.
  • Damn good Mint Julip
  • Order a trifecta of Appetizers ... Baked Mac-n-Cheese, Sweet Potato Gnocchi, and Crab Cakes. All are A-MAZING!
  • Wow - I had such big expectations for this place, and I was so disappointed! Super rude hostess :(
  • The valet staff is very nice. Tip well. Ps rsvp required. Hence, lame.
  • Moderately modish but not overly opulent. Industry bar feel (tho IS A RESTAURANT) with Scotch and Soda aesthetic. Staff is lively attentive & casual. Food refreshingly classic if there is such a thing
  • Thought it was a bar, turns out it was more of a restaurant. Great find!
  • You probably won't get the best service unless you're pretentious. I don't know if I'm coming back after the end of the evening last night.
  • The table in front of the fireplace is one of the sweetest spots in Montrose.
  • Fun brunch spot and good outdoor space to watch sport games. They have games as well if you need extra entertainment
  • Most of their space is outdoors, which makes it challenging to be the hangout place for the dog days of summer in Houston. Food is good though.
