Tips

  • The 40-year-old shade tree in the famed Brennan's courtyard was damaged in the hurricane, but has been replaced by a set of twin oak trees.
  • 2010 Best of Houston Winner: Best Atmosphere: Come during lunch time and discover the 25-cent martinis served at Brennan's bar!
  • Dine at the kitchen table!! :)
  • Ask to take a tour in the kitchen! Then check into brennans kitchen on four square ;)
  • The Cobb Salad with shrimp always does the job
  • So disappointed! Great start crumbled into uneven ending. Strange service with sommelier doubling as clumsy table-side chef (Shrimp Chippewa). Serve-yourself champagne. Where are you Dickie Brennan?
  • When dining at Brennan's ask to take a tour through the kitchen!
  • Houston institution Brennan's is back after burning to the ground during Hurricane Ike.
  • Not the same Brennan's, over cooked poached eggs, poor service, not even the pralines taste the same. What a disappointment.

  • Drum roll please...Table 45. Pause. Of all tables existing in the world of restaurant seating, table 45 is it. The granddame. The cats meow. A boyfriend without a double life. A free upgrade. Do. It.
  • Try the turtle soup - nice and spicy, with a similar taste of Manhattan clam chowder. The bananas foster and bread pudding souffle were awesome, too. They prepare it in front of you.
  • Have (cheap) happy hour drinks & appetizers in the bar before you move to the dining room. Turtle soup, salad, redfish, bananas foster. Yum!
  • The traditional banana fosters is the dessert go to.
  • Hands down, the best bananas foster in town!
  • A Houston must - classic bananas foster. Chef's table for special occasions
  • Absolutely amazing, I love this place!!!
  • Cobb salad with shrimp is fabulous for lunch. The .25 Martini's are a beast! Drink at your own risk!
  • Ahhh the Brennans... Strong name good peoples
  • Best restaurant in Houston.
