Foursquare Tips

  • Boundary Stone has an ideal whiskey list. There are plenty of Irish whiskies, but also bourbon, rye, scotch and a selection that goes beyond your usual Jim Beam or Jameson.
  • The wings are made with unicorn tears.
  • Smack Matt.
  • Dudes: Ask for Matt/Colin/Pete/Gareth's current favorite whiskey. They'll hook you up. Ladies: Ask for a "smoke and flowers."
  • Best neighborhood bar in the District. Homemade ketchup, local ingredients, and ample beer and spirits lists. Also, they've got an amazing brunch that no one ever really talks about.
  • Andrew's Bloody Mary's are ABSURDLY good. Just do it.
  • Bartenders are super friendly and totally cute.
  • Juke box is chock full of early/mid 90s hip hop, and classic soul. Play some Low End Theory for me.
  • I'd recommend the Catoctin Creek rye, of course.
  • The various daily specials are great, especially the deviled eggs! And try a Catoctin Creek rye to go with!
  • Try the Catoctin Creek Rye! Super smooth.
  • Get the fried pickles. Trust.
  • Did you know? This place is not in fact on the boundary of Washintgon, DC
  • Free jukebox!
  • Andy's bloody Marys
  • DC brau is what to get

  • Amazing bloody Mary's ($12 bottomless on weekends!). And fried pickles. And carnitas quesadilla. And amazing beers. Essentially a pretty awesome place.
  • Seitan wings and Vin's seafood specials are the best!
  • Go for the barrel aged Manhattan and the bread pudding. Just amazing!
