Foursquare Tips

  • The president and first lady hosted a fundraiser here on March 8, highlighting the Northeast corridor's dining options for the second time (Michelle Obama had previously dined at Sticky Rice).
  • Look up. Notice the bed spring light in the main rooom. Local petworth artist james kerns made it. Use a local artist next time u decorate.
  • One of our H street favorite brunch places. Get the beignets/donuts for some sweets. The corn beef Benedict is yummy. For drinks the brunch punch and the Vespa are awesome.
  • corned beef benedict for brunch = the shiiiiiiiiit.
  • Opt for the charcuterie sandwich, which piles mortadella, house-made pt de campagne and lemony Monte Enebro, a Spanish goat cheese, between grilled bread:
  • Killer cheese and charcuterie selections. Love that they have Baltimore beers (holler for Brewer's Art and properly prices Natty Boh!). Gal pal loves the whiskey selection, I loved the cocktail I got.
  • Great cider menu. Try the Millstone Hopvine.
  • The Reuben Eggs Benedict is amazing! A must try!
  • It's trying. Ambitious menu that still needs execution
  • The wild Alaskan king salmon was perfect - It's actually from the copper river.
  • Get to know the bar staff. Friendly and know their stuff.
  • Drink game is strong but food leaves me wanting more
  • Great Bloody Mary.
  • Skate Cheek dish was incredible! Great beer on draft. Hand cut fries were delicious, too.
  • Love that light work in this place. Using okra in the veggie hash for the Gentlemen... Dish is a stroke of geniua
  • Voted Best Neighborhood Brunch of 2015 by Bitches Who Brunch!
  • The Bitches say: A. A quality neighborhood bistro for hearty American fare, with generous portions and a chill atmosphere.
  • My favorite is the fries and the special spicy dipping sauce.
  • Reasonably priced drinks
  • If you're not drinking, ask for mocktail.
