Foursquare Tips

  • est. 1995 by Phil Lang. bringing the traditional cuisine of New Orleans to SLO = "Fat Tuesday Omelet" "Catfish Po-Boy" & "Seafood Gumbo"
  • Great food and even better service
  • Amazing breakfast and good staff.
  • Seafood gumbo!!!
  • Vegan jambalaya and fried green tomatoes are two reasons that this is the best restaurant in San Luis Obispo. This is vegan red beans & rice w/collard greens
  • The shrimp & catfish PO Boys and fried green tomatoes are delicious.
  • Make sure your egg isn't hard in the Benedict otherwise it was delicious
  • Live Music on Wed. & Thurs. nights!
  • Eggs serdou and fried green tomatoes so tasty!
  • There's a covered patio so bring your quiet, well behaved, leashed dog to enjoy the ambience. For the vegan there's fried green tomatoes & greens, or vegan Jambalya (with artichoke hearts!)
  • Awesome Cajun food. My breakfast favorite is the Fried Green Tomato Bendict!
  • Great pancakes with awesome honey-rum syrup, chewy and not overly filling (half way to being Swedish pancakes). Really good.
  • Good veggie/vegan options here: red beans and rice, vegan jambalaya, fried green tomato po-boys, and a few others
  • Bomb biscuits an gravy.
  • $5 student special, wuttt
  • Faitdodo!
  • bayou breakfast!
  • Closed at this location as of 4/10/16. Message on phone says they'll reopen in a few weeks at a new location. Bummer.
