Bluejacket Brewery: Washington D.C.'s Breakout Beer Star Slideshow

Some of Bluejacket's beers are aged in a variety of casks, including some that held wine and whiskey.

Coolship

In the coolship, the wort is exposed to natural air overnight through the open vents, before the fermentation process begins.

Bluejacket Bar Area

Patrons in the bar area can look up and see their beer being brewed in the floors above them. All of Bluejacket's beers are temperature controlled, so each beer has its own temperature.

Beer List

The beer menu at Bluejacket is always changing, but always includes 20 beers on tap and five cask ales. Each beer has a detailed description as well as flavor profiles, ABV, and temperature all listed on the menu.

Beer Flight

Garrett Oliver Collaboration Beer

Fresh off his James Beard award win, Garrett Oliver worked with Greg Engert to create this sour beer for Bluejacket.
