  • Cajun Blucy and Cajun tots. Yes.
  • Eat a Juicy Lucy or a Bluecy Lucy (all the burgers are delicious and inspired) and drink a Lift Bridge Farm Girl.
  • It's a controversial choice for Juicy Lucys (not Matt's or the 5-8?), but the Blue Door Pub has got a damn good Blucy. Whatever they've got as the special blucy is always worth a try.
  • Blucy, breakfast blucy, tots, curds, lumberjack blucy, horsekick blucy, good beers, what more can you ask for. Usually busy (as well it should be).
  • Do the Blucy Challenge.
  • Surly on tap for three bucks! NICE
  • Voted top ten chicken wings! The Frogtown Wings, named for the nearby neighborhood, are ultra crispy chicken wings liberally seasoned and tossed with a chunky, spicy peanut butter sauce.
  • Burgers and beer here are outstanding. The seasoned fries are also world-class. Small place, so be prepared to wait.
  • Give in to the need for juicy beef surrounding a gooey, cheesy interior and topped with crunchy, salty, spicy, lily-gilding goodness. Give in to the Baked 'n' Loaded Juicy Blucy.
  • Andrew Zimmern made a stop here, where theyve taken the classic, local Juicy Lucy hamburger in a new direction.

  • Good burgers, great beer
  • Voted as Best Neighborhood Bar In St. Paul by City Pages in 2010. The happy hours go late, the crowds are pleasant, and the Cajun fries are plain delicious.
  • Their fried cheese curds are better than the MN State fairs. Yes. I did say that.
  • 1. Find parking. (you win) 2. Find a seat. (bonus points) 3. Finish their Breakfast Blucy and all your tots.. dipped in chipotle ranch of course. (you're the all time champion).
  • The Breakfast Blucy ($8.50), an improbably delicious egg-on-Jucy Lucy burger that is an unhealthy wallow through the ditch of deliciousness.
  • Don't be the dick that drinks blue moon through a straw. Also, groups of less than 4 get seated fastest.
  • Don't be that dick and bring in a group of 15. Not meant for large groups.
  • Bring a friend and get a pitcher of Surley.
  • Order their signature burger, the bluesy. It's always busy but if you call ahead 30 minutes you should be golden.
