Block Party Blow Out Canceled

Finger on the Pulse and City Winery, who were scheduled to host their second annual Block Party Blow Out, a food and music block party and concert on June 30 from noon to 4 p.m. in New York, have canceled the event.

"Regrettably, the Summer BBQ Blow Out scheduled at City Winery on Saturday, June 30th has been cancelled. Those who bought advance tickets will be refunded and can reach out to City Winery for refunding date/details," the organizers said in an official statement to The Daily Meal.

This dance party and feast was to feature chefs like David Burke, Garrett Oliver, and Ty-Lör Boring, barbecues, bands, and DJs. Each chef and restaurant like Maharlika, Big Gay Ice Cream, Amali, Empire Mayo, and Maison Premiere was creating a unique dish for the Block Party Blow Out inspired by barbecue and their culinary influences.

The event was also meant to double as the record release party for Snacky Tunes Volume 2, the second compilation album by the Bresnitz brothers who host "Snacky Tunes" on Heritage Radio.
