Blimpie’s brand new Everything Bread, a savory sub roll made with a mix of sesame and poppy seeds and Montreal seasoning, is set to be the main attraction for this Q3 limited time offer as customers can try it out on any of the fan favorite subs listed on the menu. However, Blimpie will feature the Everything Bread on three specific menu items for the Everything Italian promotion – the newly released Spicy Italian Sub, the re-introduced Meatball Pepperoni Sub, and the best-selling Blimpie Best. Blimpie’s Everything Italian promotion is a direct response to the desires of consumers to push the boundaries by offering additional flavor on their menu items. According to a recent survey taken by Dataessential in their MenuTrends Sandwich Keynote report, the highest number of respondents (42 percent) indicated the most important ingredient for a “truly great sandwich” is the bread. Blimpie’s Everything Bread, featuring a combination of tasty seeds and robust seasoning, bursts with flavor, particularly when paired with a delicious mix of meats, cheeses and toppings.
Customers will also be able to enjoy a new dessert item on the menu over the next several months as Blimpie will feature the Berry Bliss cookie in tandem with the Everything Italian promotion. The cookie is a combination of strawberries, blueberries and white chocolate chips. The introduction of the Berry Bliss cookie follows the latest market trend of more quick service restaurants offering indulgent desserts with fruits or non-dark chocolate ingredients.
