  • I don't care WHAT everyone else says about Smitty's or Kreuz, Black's is the HOLY GRAIL of Lockhart barbecue! Kreuz sucks, Smitty's is decent, but Black's beats them BOTH. Take it from a BBQ snob!
  • Our first time here and had the best BBQ in a long while. You order meat by the pound and remember to bring cash. Sell sides but its all about the meat! They also give you crackers and ice cream!
  • The best BQQ in Texas, period. If you love Barbecue you can NOT miss Black's! THE best homemade beef brisket, pork and beef ribs, sausage, cornbread, pies, and cobblers :) Very worth the little trip!
  • Brisket. Everything else is par for the course, but the moist brisket is like crack.
  • Get the Brisket and Jalapeno/Cheddar sausage.
  • Should definitely be a stop on any good BBQ tour. Best brisket I've ever eaten and the pecan pie isn't bad either.
  • Brisket all the way, ask for moist cut.
  • Amazing brisket here. Don't leave Lockhart without trying it.
  • Highly recommend especially the lean brisket
  • The giant beef rib was great. The lean brisket was the best I've had!
  • The men's restroom in the front part of the restaurant has the smallest toilet stall that I have ever used in my entire life.
  • This is probably the best brisket you will ever eat. Ever.
  • Come early! The line will wrap around the building!
  • Omg best effin brisket! Ask for the burnt end of the brisket it is a life changer. You will thank me you will not be disappointed. Must drink the sweet tea with bbq its the south respect the tradition
  • Made our South's Best List! Try the delicious spicy-sweet tomato-based sauce for slathering on brisket and pork ribs.
  • The Best Brisket in the surrounding Austin area.
  • Truly giant beef ribs.
  • BBQ... None better, ANYWHERE!
  • Black's Barbecue is the best BBQ that I have EVER eaten in my life. No shiznit!! EVER!! The beef ribs, the sausage, the pork ribs, it was all on point. A must for your BBQ bucket list!!
