Foursquare Tips

  • So many people we know had their last first date here.
  • Get the Bangers and Mash... Its AMAZING! I get it every time I come into Philly!!
  • Pub grub, Irish hospitality!
  • Stupid. Go to the nodding head down the street instead.
  • Hope your not thirsty. Water is apparently a huge ordeal.
  • See why Black Sheep landed in the Neighborhood Haunts in our list of Philadelphia's Best Bars.
  • Check out happy hour M-F from 4-7pm and enjoy $1 off all drinks!
  • Rachel, Adam, Kate, Eileen... Everyone that works here - what else could you ask for? These people are a family that you want to be a part of. :)
  • Best burger, beer, & fries in Philly. Ask for Rachel, Dave, or Pete. If you enjoy Whisky, James has 'Paddy's' which is imported directly from Ireland. Good Times!!!
  • Trying a new soup....chicken & rice
  • Nice pub to watch the birds at while enjoying brunch
  • Friendly staff & cute
  • The burgers & any of the Irish dishes!!
  • Pretty small place
  • Great fish and chips, and Rueben
  • Good atmosphere
  • get the burger and garlic fries.
  • This handsome pub serves surprisingly good Irish-fusion food, but you'll have to wait for it.
  • Pretty packed for the first night of SIPS but the service was good. Wings were decent, but the side dressing was pretty gross.
  • "Spicy Parmesan fries" are not fries but chips that have been seasoned. Delicious but not quite as advertised.
