Foursquare Tips

  • French beer.
  • If you walk out of here without eating the snails, someone should just punch you. Especially if youre the kind of person who normally doesnt eat snails.
  • Chef Peter Woolsey's take on family recipes is a nice touch in an environment that has tons of them to start, like red aprons for their server brigade and a beautiful backyard patio. [Eater 38 Member]
  • Get the duck leg and puff pastry!
  • Philadelphia Magazine's #4 best restaurant in Philadelphia!
  • On a nice day, ask about their hidden outdoor patio!
  • Good deals when it's Restaurant Week. Otherwise, its overpriced and not very creative
  • Escargot done correctly. Yes.
  • A decent French place!! Love their snails!!
  • Great brunch, omelette with reblochon fondue was a stand out. Foie Gras was delicious. Excellent $25 prix fixe deal and tasty $5 Bloodies. Friendly service.
  • Really good french food! We loved the escargots.
  • The Bouchee appetizer was very good. Loved the chocolate mousse cake as well!
  • Amazing beef bourguignon
  • Order the escargots (better than any I had in Paris), the oeuf du pecheur (filling enough to be your meal) and the best creme brle you will ever have.
  • Sylva Senat, chef of The Saint James, eats here on his nights off. He loves the Escargots de Bourgogne.
  • The trout is phenomenal as is the simple salade verte!
  • Get the poached egg and mussels!
  • For an appetizer pick a Poached egg which is absolutely exquisite! Rabbit for a main course was delectable - reminded me of a rabbit dish in Paris restaurant in Las Vegas. And deserts are food art!
  • Classic French food. Rich and tasty. Would definitely recommend.
  • Get cozy at this comfortable bistro. Inviting interior (and bar) gets one in the mood to enjoy Chef Wooley's interpretations of French food. And don't sleep on the special events.
