Foursquare Tips

  • Live jazz is performed during Sunday brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Great Restaurant if you plan to do the 'dinner and show' thing. The food was great, but the portions weren't as large as traditional italian restaurants. Fish is a hit or miss. Open late.
  • Chicken Alfredo Pizza is the bestest!
  • Creme Brulee is a MUST HAVE!!! Enjoy!
  • Amazing pizza!!!
  • Good place to visit if you have some time before the show. I like to sit by the bar and have a light snack, like bruschetta and a glass of wine. I prefer other places after the show.
  • Complimentary dessert for the birthday guest.
  • Great chicken alfredo and mushroom sandwich!!!
  • Definitely get the bean soup - its delicious
  • My favorites are straw and hay and the capellini primavera. This Houston institution never disappoints. Within walking distance from the theatre district so perfect for a meal before the show.
  • Eggplant parm with spinach noodles is DE-lish! Share the Tres Leches cake - sooo yummy!
  • Try the tres leches. It's divine, especially with a shot of Bailey's over it
  • Great place to go before or after a show in the theater district!
  • Good food, nice music and romantic setting. Great place for date night.
  • Love....love this restaurant good food and romantic settings. Great music and fab place for date night.
  • Uncomplicated food and good wines at reasonable prices. Service was fast. Window tables are nice.
  • Straw & Hay pasta is the best!
  • Didn't try the food, but late night drinks were great. Good service at the bar, people watching, and music.
  • $27 for a very average brunch buffet
  • Food was okay. A little pricey for the quality. We went because we had a $20 gift certificate, but then we also had to pay $10 for the parking garage.
