Foursquare Tips

  • Great place for an easy Sunday walk.
  • Great place to spend a sunday afternoon
  • My favorite place to go jogging in Birmingham. The foliage provides shade and keeps the air humid. There are a million little, winding paths to get lost in.
  • Free admission.
  • hit up The Garden's Cafe for a light salad or sandwich made with care by Kathy G. and Co. (best caterer in the Ham!)
  • Rose Garden is an excellent place to have a picnic. Pretty even in winter. :)
  • Went when there was a Pokmon Go event and it was awesome. Me and my boyfriend will always remember it. The koi pond was my favorite. Even etched our initials into a bamboo stalk. Best day date tops
  • Very well upkept, beautiful. They are working near the koi pond.
  • Not dog friendly
  • Great place to rest after hard day at work...
  • Free and beautiful!
  • Great date spot and afternoon stroll
  • We loved this garden. Although it's fall and most of the flowers have already begun to go to "sleep" for the winter being here was still so peaceful.
  • Amazing place to bring your family or get a bite to eat in the cafe
  • The map isn't that great, so you might feel lost, but the gardens are beautiful enough that you won't mind that too much.
  • I love the plant life. My boyfriend and I visit often to watch tie changing of the seasons.
  • There's some great photo opportunities in the Japanese Garden.
  • This place is amazing. Some of the best kept gardens I've ever seen. I personally like the japanese maples and the coy pond. Plenty of small tucked away places to sit and enjoy. And its free!
  • 2013 excellence in nursing B metro
  • Beautiful gardens & friendly staff. Wonderful time
