Foursquare Tips

  • This 19 acre state park contains erupting Geyser fountains, each of which represents a specific river in Tennessee.
  • Check out the World War II memorial and the Tennessee Timeline...make sure to note the break in the wall at the time of the American Civil War!!!
  • If your here at noon, go to the far end of the park, away from the capitol, stand in the middle of the bells, on top of the three stars and listen to three state songs. It's great.
  • Beautiful park! There is a time capsule buried here.
  • Fairly cool place, although the area gets sketchy at night.
  • A must visit place when in Nashville. Great place to spend a few hours taking in the states history
  • Such a beautiful park. It's great for a walk, picnic and relaxing. Farmers Market, next to it, is really good too
  • The parks 31 Rivers of Tennessee water fountains are a big hit with kids, who love to splash around in the warmer summer months.
  • They play Cricket here is the late afternoon. Fun to watch.

  • jog around the park and then stop in the middle of the bell towers. lay down and look at the stars. cool way to experience Gods handywork.
  • The memorial wall is nice, and the state of Tennessee with all the cities in it on the ground, near the splash pad.

  • Great park with lots of shade for strolling around. It's also very convenient for popping into the farmer's market
  • Check out the monuments, fountains, amphitheater and nearby market.
  • The 200 year timeline walk is very informative.
  • Free parking always a plus
  • Very pretty at night (but I wouldn't go alone)
  • Check out the lighted fountains at the end of the park and the two circles of Tennessee flags. They're right by the amphitheater.
  • My favorite park in Nashville, great views and I love that is next to the Farmers Market!
