In 1946, founders William Schuman and Robert Mann came together to develop a school for such musicians with a dream. Now, being accepted to this highly competitive school brings great pride. On December 4, the Juilliard String Quartet presents a collection of masterpieces from Beethoven, Carter, Wernick and more. The musical vibrations will be heard in the Plymouth Church in Shaker Heights. Juillard String Quartet is the first classical music ensemble to receive The Recording Academy Achievement Award.
