Using the same principle as a turkey roll-up or pinwheel, these pizza roll-ups ditch the crust for a low-carb whole-wheat tortilla and pack in the protein with low-fat cheese. To make this delicious treat, which packs well in your child’s lunchbox or your grown-up lunch bag, gather the essential ingredients: low-carb whole-wheat tortillas, prepared pizza sauce, low-fat mozzarella, and any toppings (i.e. spinach, mushrooms, or pepperoni).

Burrata Pizza
Everyone has a favorite pizza topping, but great pizza truly comes down to only three things: fresh dough, ripe tomatoes, and a stand-out cheese. For this recipe we are zoning in on the cheese and swapping out the mozzerella standby for decadent burrata. Burrata is a Puglian cheese that is often said to be in the same family as mozzarella — but if that's the case then burrata is the better-looking adopted cousin. It's textural differences and creamy rich interior make it a singular cheese. When added to pizza, its lightness and flavor gives an extra dimension to an already beloved dish.See all recipes with mozzarella.Click here to see Bake Me a Pizza as Fast as You Can.

Asparagus pizza! Click here for Awesome Asparagus Recipes.

Kale
There's really no such thing as Irish pizza, of course — not in any traditional sense, at least. The historic Kitchen Bar in Belfast does serve what they've dubbed "Paddy Pizza", ham or chicken and sliced tomatoes on a soda bread crust with Irish Cheddar melted on top, however, and in the late 1980s, Bernadette O'Shea introduced Sligo to real Mediterranean-style pizza at her Truffles restaurant, and later developed a pizza topped with black pudding (Irish blood sausage) and leeks. The pizza created by this recipe, which is my invention, might be said to be the illegitimate spawn of those two preparations. For 7 Cheesy Ways to Enjoy Irish Cheddar.

Forget about ordering a side salad with your slice — you can just pile your greens right on top instead. This combo features blue-cheese crumbles, which add a big kick of robust flavor for a fraction of the fat you'd get from a standard mozzarella-loaded piece. And best of all, there's zero cooking required.

"Feta on pizza is a really smart choice," says Gans. "You only need a little to get a lot of flavor, which results in a huge calorie savings." Then there's a generous serving of veggies, including roasted red peppers and grape tomatoes, which dish up more than 40 percent of your daily dose of vitamin C. And that essential nutrient has been shown to assist with fat burning, according to research at Arizona State University.
