Organic Spring Mix Lettuce
This bright green and red salad is inspired by the herb salad with toasted cashews served at Carmella. Plus, it utilizes the best trick I learned at Carmella: de-seeding pomegranates in a snap. Since herbs have a tendency to darken when cut, make sure they are completely dry after washing them (the best way to wash them is to leave them tied in bunches and let them soak in cold water for a few minutes, swirling the water occasionally to remove any dirt) before slicing. And don't worry if you have uneven or whole leaves; that's part of this salad's charm. Click here to see 10 Restaurant Kitchen Tips for Home Cooks.

Herb Crusted Halibut
Halibut holds up extremely well when paired with strong, bright flavors, like fresh herbs and coarsely ground breadcrumbs. This dish calls for the fish to be baked for eight minutes and then finished under the broiler for two minutes to make the crust extra-crispy and golden.  Check out more Healthy and Hearty Halibut Recipes. I have so many herbs growing in the garden and when my husband came home with Veal Loin Chops this recipe was created. I combined all of my herbs together and this dish was delicious! This was served with my Sweet Potato Pie I did however take the loin chops out of the package and season them with salt and pepper on both sides then put into a plastic bag and add minced garlic and olive oil. Seal and refrigerate for 3 hours. You can make this a paleo recipe by omitting the parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs. For this recipe and other entertaining tips from Cindy's Table, click here.

In our house we love lamb. We enjoy rack of lamb on Sunday’s and in the summer we love beef or chicken kabobs. We also love herb filled roasted chickens. My Rosemary Herb Marinade goes with so many great dishes. I love to keep some aside and add to a gravy! I am Italian and many of these dishes go great with gravy to either dip bread or Popovers This marinade is perfect for 2 pounds of protein. Herb Roasted Turkey
Thanksgiving is hands-down my favorite holiday. Bar Americain is open each year for Thanksgiving, and we typically serve about 600 people before the day is over. No matter how many wonderful selections we offer on the abbreviated holiday menu, without fail turkey is the biggest seller — partly because people love it and partly, I think, out of a sense of tradition. This is the turkey that I serve at Bar Americain, with only the dressing and sides changing from year to year.

Herbed Tilapia Envelopes
Fish en papillote isn't just a technique confined to French cuisine. Here, it's put to good use in a Mexican-inspired recipe that's on the lighter side. Tilapia soaks up flavors of intense jalapeño and a fresh herb mix, and a little squash completes the meal. This recipe comes to us courtesy of Ingrid Hoffmann, host of Delicioso on Univision.
