French Toast Turkey Burger
Breakfast for dinner is a pretty regular thing for me — I love me some French toast or a waffle on a weeknight. This recipe happened, sort of, on accident. I was craving a burger but also French toast. Instead of choosing one or the other, I decided to make both and put them together. It was a great decision, as this burger is absolutely delicious! Stuffed French Toast
Impress yourself and your friends by serving this easy, decadent, yet healthy breakfast.  Stuffed French toast is generally loaded with unhealthy fats and calories. This recipe, though, is made with fresh fruit, almond butter, whole grain bread, and toasted walnuts for a warm, gooey morning treat.  Berries pack a solid antioxidant punch.  The small, yet mighty berry may well protect you from heart disease, cancer, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, macular degeneration, and more.  Ridiculously easy to make, beautiful on the plate, and healthy yet scrumptious to eat, your guests will definitely be asking for this recipe on their way out your door.

Panettone French Toast
So what is panettone? Well, it actually is a sweet bread which originates from Milan, Italy. The process to make the actual bread takes a bit of time, which really gives it its fluffy, non-cakey cakey-ness. The flavor profile found in a panettone cake bread is that of orange, lemon, and raisins... with a whole lot of sweetness! This lent well to our creation of Panettone French Toast! And so, if you’ve still got some leftover panettone (and I’m sure you do as this stuff lasts forever), here’s a great French toast recipe for you to try.

Challah French Toast
Challah makes some of the best French toast because of its spongey texture and buttery flavor. Buy a round loaf or long braided loaf of it to use for French toast — a great way to utilize leftover bread from any meal. Click here to see Lazy Sunday Brunch Recipes.

French Toast
My sister Kate is living and teaching in Arkansas, and has made a habit of coming home to New York City with gifts for me and the rest of the family. On one of her recent trips home, Kate brought me a new gift: an oversized bottle of sorghum syrup, which I’d admired at a small shop when I was there. For this French Toast recipe, I added the buttermilk to the milk-egg mixture and the cornmeal as a coating all in a nod to the sorghum’s Southern derivation. Naturally, you can replace the sorghum with good old Northern maple syrup. — Cara

Candied Pecan French Toast
My mother always made pecan pie for our family growing up. So, when I wanted to deliver a special breakfast for her, I created a unique take on her pecan pie. I made her a Mother’s Day breakfast that included her favorite nuts and just candied them for an added punch. See all French toast recipes. Click here to see the Mother's Day Brunch in Bed story.
