 Diabetic-Friendly Baked Beans
This baked bean recipe uses orange juice and maple syrup to add sweetness instead of refined sugars and forgoes ketchup in favor of plain diced tomatoes. These diabetic-friendly sugars don’t cause glucose spikes but still add the traditional sweetness that is synonymous with a good bowl of baked beans.

This is one of the recipes I was considering having at my wedding (eons ago). It's relatively cheap, easily multiplied, and is a beautiful color. It would also be great for celebrating baby's arrival or a graduation, since there is no alcohol. Passive time is chill time.

This is simple to make and tastes great. I serve it over fresh or canned fruit.
