Indian Mango Salsa
There are hundreds of varieties of mangoes, but this sweet and spicy salsa uses the Kesar variety from India (where it is known as the queen of mangoes). Kesar mangoes are intensely sweet and only available for a few weeks each year. If you can get your hands on some, use them — they’re so delicious — but any ripe mango will work.

Curry Powder
Many Iraqi recipes call for curry powder, and this is the way I make it. An example of a recipe I use this in often is Layered Carrots and Rice – Jizer M’tubuq. It is best to buy whole spices and grind them yourself. You can see this recipe made here in this video. This is modified from a recipe found on Recipes by Rachel. I think I cut down the cayenne pepper powder even more, as we do not like heat. Feel free to do that also. It is still flavourful.-UmmBinatThis recipe is courtesy of UmmBinat via Food.com

Ketchup is one of Amercia's favorite condiments so you may be thinking, if it ain't broken, why fix it? We're not trying to fix it , although we are suggesting a little oomph to our beloved sauce. Variety is the spice of life! Thanks to chef Duran from The Food Networks' s Ham on the Street and TLC's Ultimate Cake Off, we have a bold ketchup recipe to mix things up a bit. The spice we're adding is madras curry powder. The piquent peppery flavor it provides to ordinary ketchup will surely have your guests take notice (in a good way) this barbecue season.  This recipe combines the powder with 100% natural store-bought ketchup but if you're feeling more ambitious, you can make homemade ketchup and then add whatever spices to really jazz up an otherwise typical condiment. Curried Cauliflower
I'm not going to pretend and say that this is actually aloo gobi, an Indian dish that is also cauliflower- and potato-based. Nevertheless, this curried cauliflower is delicious with garlic naan. And that's all that matters in my book. See all potato recipes. Click here to see 5 Naan-Inspired Recipes.

Just to clarify, this isn't a curry recipe, it's a recipe for curried rice. Much simpler than putting together a complex — and quite delicious, might I add — curry sauce, this rice recipe comes together in 20 minutes and is a great side for grilled chicken, fish, or steak. soup
There are few things I like more than cooking with legumes. They are nutrient dense, cheap and can be used in everything from salads, to soups, to stews. This soup has some Asian accents and the coconut milk gives it a lovely, creamy texture.

Currywurst is a popular street food in Berlin, Germany; consisting primarily of bratwurst sausages that are dusted with curry powder and covered in curry ketchup and served with fries, mayonaisse, and more ketchup. You can substitute bratwurst sausages for the traditional pigs in a blanket mini-franks if you desire. This recipe has been adapted from the Perfect Pigs in a Blanket Recipe, and given a Berlin-style currywurst flavor. Photo Modified: Flickr/ punctuated/ CC 4.0
