The Best Iced Coffee Recipe
Cold-brew coffee is richer in flavor than the regular kind. This method produces a kind of coffee concentrate, so don’t go overboard and make sure to dilute your glasses or you’ll be drinking far too much caffeine.

Cold Brew Coffee
Coffee is infinitely customizable. For those who love their coffee cold, cold brew pots are a fairly inexpensive investment. Cold brew is a little like tea. Coffee grounds steep in water. And just like loose leaf tea, if you don’t have a cold brew pot you aren’t out of luck. You can always stir together the grounds and water, leave it to sit and then strain out the grounds using a strainer or cotton cloth. There is no perfect type of coffee for cold brew, so use what you love. If that’s a light roast, go with a light roast. If you want something darker, go for a dark roast. This is the recipe I use with a Hario Mizudashi cold brew coffee pot.

Turn your favorite caffeinated beverage into a frozen treat by making this refreshing granita. We like to sweeten ours with sugar, but you could experiment with agave and maple syrup, too. Serve the granita in coffee cups topped with whipped cream for a fun presentation.

If you aren’t in the mood for a cold mojito, but want to put a little Latin spice in your drink, try this coffee drink made with gold rum and crème de cacao. It will warm you up right down to your toes. Most of the time, crème de cacao wouldn’t be considered “slimming,” but in this recipe, it’s the only thing that’s high in calorie.
