I got this from a major newspaper in Toronto, Canada years ago and being a "thrifty person", I've made it many times. Replace the coffee with liqueur syrups, such as apricot, cherry & creme de menthe for other flavours. Try to fool your friends!

While in the supermarket looking for mussels to prepare a French dish, I came across a bag of frozen mixed seafood. I already had some cod filets at home, and figured this would be a great (and inexpensive) way to make ciopinno soup. Not traditional, but it turned out hearty, delicious, and a definite keeper!

A wonderfully delicious, flavorful and inexpensive method to cooking chicken. My Mom used to make this once a week while I was growing up and the whole kitchen would fill with the fragrance of the spices, making my mouth water! Since then, I've gotten the recipe and now I make it very often. ENJOY!
