Beef Stew With Ginger (Nehari) recipe - The Daily Meal
On more festive occasions, Pakistanis turn to the style of cooking known as Mogul cuisine. For nearly 300 years, the court of the ''Grand Mogul'' in Delhi was a byword for luxury and extravagance, symbolized by architectural masterpieces like the Taj Mahal. No expense was spared in the Mogul kitchens, where a hundred separate dishes were prepared each day for the emperor. Today, in Pakistan and in India, the Moguls' culinary heritage lives on in dishes like nehari, a sumptuous dish in which pieces of beef are slowly cooked in yogurt, spices and chilis to produce a characteristic thick dark gravy. —Colleen Taylor Sen, Chicago TribuneThis recipe comes from Salim Khan, owner of Tasty Eat restaurant in Chicago. Beef Stew
This comforting beef stew can be made in just over an hour. It’s a great basic beef stew with simple ingredients, and the best part is that it tastes even better the next day. It’s also a really budget-friendly dish made with chuck meat, which tends to have a lot of fat — great for all that extra juice flavor!25 Slow Cooker Soups and Stews for WinterThis stew is perfect on its own or served with rice or quinoa.

Crock Pot Beef Stew
This is a super meaty beef stew that has more of a clear broth than the gravy-like Dinty Moore version. If you like the broth a bit thicker, toss the cubes of beef in flour before browning. Crock-pot temperatures vary — I find that the smaller crock-pots are often hotter than the large ones, which this recipe was scaled for originally, but as always with beef, low and slow makes it the most tender.Click here to see Cozy Comfort Food Recipes.  Click here for more of the 101 Best Slow Cooker Recipes

Beef Stew
This recipe is a classic and straightforward version of the hearty dish, with additional flavoring from a hint of cumin and cinnamon. Traditional beef stews tend to include new potatoes, which this one does not. Instead, serve it over a bed of brown rice to add an extra nutty bite.
