I use almond flour with many of my recipes but it is very costly. I want to experiment with a few inspirations for the holidays therefore decided to make my own almond flour. I had a huge bag that I purchased a while ago to make a nut crunch. I used my food processor but I bet you can do the same with a coffee grinder as well. My advice would be to pulse it because I fear if you over blend you will end up with almond butter. It came out perfect so now off to cooking land! Click here to see more recipes from Cindy's Table.

Don't be intimidated by the fancy French term. Pâte sucrée is just another way of saying "tart crust." Here's a simple recipe that works pretty well for me. See all dough recipes.

Organic chicken prepared in a REAL FOOD way is great when eaten in small portions. This recipe is grain-free, soy-free, gluten-free, and dairy-free. It is also Paleo, meaning ancestral-- meats, seafood, vegetables, fruits, and nuts. It is important to rotate your foods and if you are living a REAL FOOD life, your body might be some animal fat every once in a while. A family of 4-6 people should need no more than 1-2 chicken breats. Pair with a plate of alkaline vegetable like broccoli or kale and you'll have balanced bodies!

Paleo Honey Cake
Most honey cake recipes include coffee, I left it out of this one to simplify the recipe and make it a couple of steps easier. My husband loved this cake — as you can see from the photo, a large piece has been devoured. And a friend said it was the best honey cake she had ever eaten, gluten-free or not; however, I'll let you all be the judge of that!See all cake recipes.
