Many people say that breakfast is the most important part of the day. For travelers who are in agreement, I’ve got the perfect guide to enjoying breakfast in Orlando. Keke’s has quickly became a favorite for both locals and visitors due to excellent service, a modern yet inviting atmosphere, and a vast menu that doesn’t quit. Nick’s Family Diner

If you have a hankering for breakfast, this old-school spot serves it up all day long (7am-3pm). The classic recipes are combined with southern food, as well as Greek and Italian specialties to create a uniquely satisfying menu. Big portions, a friendly waitstaff and low price points make this a popular place to fuel up for the day.

Briarpatch Restaurant

Cost: $$

Favorite Orders: Raspberry & Brie Stuffed French Toast, Truffle Fried Eggs, Smoked Salmon Benedict, Jumbo Lump Crab Scramble

A short 15-minute drive north of Orlando will lead you to Briarpatch. This iconic Winter Park establishment has been serving up breakfast for 25 years, and keeps getting better and better! The Briarpatch is no greasy spoon, either. Fresh ingredients and new twists on American favorites make for flavorful, refined menu options. That said, be prepared for a wait on peak weekend breakfast hours, as this place is certainly no secret.

City Diner

Sometimes you want something quick and easy for breakfast. That’s where City Diner comes in. This downtown Orlando breakfast joint has excellent platters and omelets, but its signature is the breakfast melt sandwich. Pop in and get one for the road, or perch yourself on a counter stool and stay a while.

This local spot is open 24/7 and has a variety of donut concoctions sure to satisfy your sugar needs. Breakfast sandwiches and meals are also served here, just in case someone in your party doesn’t fancy donuts.
