Foursquare Tips

  • So close to BAM, it was tough not to stroll in. Very friendly.
  • Must try the pork with pork and pork
  • Adequate but unexciting. Price is high for what you get and service is patchy (15 mins for a beer, entrees brought at different times)
  • Pretzel and mustard is amazing. A must have.
  • Chips appetizers are great. Cheese plate also good. Pizza thing with apple and cheese was delicious.
  • whimsical decor. Aviation, Pirage Jenny, Hemmingway Daiquiri. For food, really loved the rainbow trout and Duck confit.
  • The Easter colors reflect in a Margarita mixed with Pueblo Viejo. Get yours here at Berlyn!
  • Beautiful interiors and excellent German fare. The plush chairs with fur throws are truly a great touch. Highly recommend.
  • "We'll buy this place and have it knocked down!"
  • If you are in Berlyn, try a Margarita with Pueblo Viejo Blanco.
  • Great, modern take on German staples. The schnitzel tastes better than any I've ever had!
  • The schnitzel is good
  • The Wiener schnitzel was delicious and the potato salad was perfect! I will be back!
  • Had their fish entree. Very good, but not too filling. Pricey
  • Nice place.
  • Delicious entrees. Never disappoints. Schnitzel's best in NYC.
  • Since I have fished the entire cocktail menu, I promise every cocktail is truly wonderful.
  • Best warm pretzel I've had out of all the German spots I've tried in the city. Warm, pillowy, and flavorful with a delicious sweet mustard. Smaller than some others, but big of flavor.
  • Pork chop is fantastic
  • Good, authentic German food and cozy atmosphere, but it comes at a price. Try the Anna Nicole cocktail if you get the chance.
